HELP!
This is my little cry for help. I'm at the end of my rope and I just don't know what to do. We had Trace completely potty trained before Jaxson was born. By this I mean he was accident free for almost 2 months before. Well then Jaxson was born and it's like haveing 3 kids in diapers again. I've tried everything that I can think of. We've bribed him, we've praised, we've even let him sit in it (Horrible I know) and none of it works for more then a day. I know he can do it because he did before and I'm feeling horribly frustrated. Please if anyone has any suggestions at all it would be greatly appreciated!

Annie, that happens when there is a big change like a new baby joining the family. Just be patient and ignore it for a little while - probably about a month. Maybe spend a little extra one on one with him (I know that seems absolutely impossible, but even an extra 10 minutes works wonders). After three or four weeks of not pushing it - then start again. We had two set backs with Brice and after Camylle was born I thought I'd die cuz after changing a new born baby's bottom a 3 year olds bottom is like changing an adult -- it's not pretty. Anyway, hang in there and do some research online to see what others have done to help. I'm rooting for you - but just breath deep and count to 10 and it will get better...one of the adventures of parenthood we parents keep from you so we can sit back and say - 'yup, I remember when you...' Oh, I can't wait till I'm a grandma and get to see Camylle and Brice experience these joys ;-> Love ya Annie...
I'd have to agree...even though I know it's not what you want to hear. Hopefully you'll take peace in knowing that he's perfectly normal and quiet common! I'd wait it out as well...good luck!!
be patient--but when you are ready to start again, have you tried a chart? for our oldest we made a chart and each time he went he got a sticker to put on it. he loved the wiggles, so we bought him a wiggles guitar but wouldn't let him play with it until the chart was filled! by the end of the day he was fully trained!
heavenly!
