My new do!

So the way I see it, just because I'm the mother of 3 small children doesn't mean that I have to LOOK like one. I've lost 20 lbs at Jazzercise and I want to look GOOD! So about a month ago I went for a new haircut and lets just say it wasn't for me. It was a shapeless a-line cute with no body and no pizzaz, which is why my hair ended up being in a pony tail about 90% of the time. Well today was the day that I burned my pony tail holders and got a new do that I LOVE!!!! YAY for good hair cuts!

The Best Campground EVER!

Cory and I have done a lot of looking and I think we finally found it. Its got indoor plumbing, l.ots of trees, a beautiful little stream running through it. And best of all its close to home, it's our back yard!

We decided not to try actual camping until Jax is walking, but we don't want our kids to miss out on the fun, so we set up our tent in the back yard near the fire pit. We roasted hotdogs for dinner and marshmellows for dessert. The kids had a blast and best of all there was a bath and our OWN beds to end the night in! WOO HOO!

Food Storage ROCKS!

About a year ago Cory and I had a Stake meeting in which our Stake President urged all of us to store water along with the food in our food storage. So over the course of the last year Cory and I have been refilling juice and soda bottles. Boy am I glad we did.
Last night we found that our crawl space had about half a foot of water in it. This was shortly after we discovered a lack of water pressure in our house. It turns out the water under the house is a ground water that has gathered there because the ground is so saturated. An easy fix with a pump. YAY!
The water pressure, however, is another story. It turns out that all the warm weather recently has caused a major run off. It became to much for our local water treatment plant and they will be shutting off the towns water for the next two days for repairs. Thankfully though, Cory and I have more then enough water to drink and wash things for that period of time. I am mighty greatful for our Stake President for being in tune with the spirit, and also very greatful that Cory and I were in tune enough to follow his advice.

It's a boy!

Meet Patches. He is the newest memeber of our family. He's a pretty shy boy (he spent most of the day in our bookshelf) but he sure is sweet.

Fondue!?! I think you mean FUNdue!

For Mothers day my sweet Cory bought me a fondue pot! So yesterday we were in Salt Lake and had a little fondue party with his family. It was SOOOOOO much fun! And did I mention tasty!

The kids sure did enjoy "playing" with their food. But I guess anything on a stick tastes better!

It's official!

We have a crawler on our hands! I went to Weblo's with Cory last night to help his boys make Mothers Days crafts. We took Jaxson with us because he was a little cranky. Well the scouts took an instant liking to him and by the end of the evening had him crawling! This is something I've been trying to get going for a week, and it turns out all I was missing was a room full of 10 year olds!
