We decided not to try actual camping until Jax is walking, but we don't want our kids to miss out on the fun, so we set up our tent in the back yard near the fire pit. We roasted hotdogs for dinner and marshmellows for dessert. The kids had a blast and best of all there was a bath and our OWN beds to end the night in! WOO HOO!

Kena looks super blonde in that pic. But camping out in the backyard with your own bed sounds fabulous. Someday we'll have a backyard, too.
