We have "news"

Jaxson got his first tooth yesterday! He was smiling at his daddy at lunch when we spotted it. We're really excited because the drool seems to have slowed down at least for the time being. If you look really close you may actually be able to see it in the picture.
Then there's Kenadee's first. She got her first hair cut (not just bang trim). She sat so still for me yesterday while we cut her a bob and she loves it. It stays out of her face better and means that she doesnt have to sit still while ponytails are applied.
And of course there's Trace. I couldn't leave him out because he was our first little man who gave us our first first haircut and our first first tooth.

New Car!

We went to Salt Lake this weekend in the hopes of ending our stint as a one car family. With Trace getting ready to start preschool and soccer, and Kena taking dance, and Jax just along for the ride, it was getting really hard to balance our schedule with Cory's so that we all had the car when we needed it. It's official now though, we are a two car family and we love it. We got an amazing deal on the car and our payments are less then we were hoping for (yay us). Here's some pictures. PS we drove home in the snow and thus the salt this morning. It really was much cleaner when we bought it.

What a week!

So we went to the doctor today and it's official. Our little ones have RSV. Trace is well, but Kena has an ear infection and RSV and Jax has the beginnings of RSV. So we have a weekend on nebulizers and antibiotics. What fun. We do have some good news though. I have passed my second class and am that much closer to my degree. WOO HOO!

Snow snow beautiful snow?

We woke up to about a foot of snow this morning. Thats on top of the at least 3 feet that we had out there already. So I thought I'd do some before and after shots. This is the drift on our front porch before Cory got out and shoveled.

And this is the drift after shoveling. He added about a foot to it. What fun. We actually own a snow blower that would have been very handy this morning, but we burned up the drive belt trying to clear the driveway of all the previous snow. Hopefully Cory will get it fixed on his lunch break so he can redo the driveway after work. Not only is it still coming down, but we've added another 2 or so inches in the 2 hours since he shoveled this morning. Is anyone else ready for spring?

The beautician and the beast!

Kena's been brushing up on her beauty skills and daddy has been a willing model. Tonight we display the wonderful styling of daddy's arm hair! Please to enjoy!

Let the extermination begin!

So if someone could market a product called Monster be gone they'd be a millionaire. Our poor little Trace has a monster problem that I'm not sure how to fix. About 6 months back we got what I thought would be a cute little book about a boy who learns not to be afraid of the monsters in his house (Learn from my mistake). Not a great idea folks. Trace is now convinced that there is a monster in his closet and bless his heart it scares him to death. I tried buying some lavender scented air freshner and calling it monster spray. I thought it would make him feel empowered and maybe the scent would calm him. To bad we woke up to him soaked in airfreshner. Ahh what fun! Any ideas?

Crazy Kids!

What a weekend, all I have to say is that my kids keep my busy. Last night we heard Kenadee in the hall banging on something so I thought I'd check on her. Look what I found...Thats right folks, little miss Kena in a pile of formula. We keep a small can in the diaper bag for church and other such outings and she found it. It was all the way down the hall, in her hair, in the diaper bag, and oh did I mention she was eating it! YUCKY is all I have to say.
Then there are the things that they say. Tonight Trace was thanking my for breakfast. I thought to myself that this would be an awesome learning oppurtunity so we had a little talk about how we eat breakfast in the morning when its light outside, and dinner at night when its dark outside.
"So Trace it's dark outside, what are you eating?"
"Umm, Corn???"
What a turkey!

I did it!

So it is official, I wrote a paper and got a passing grade. I've been so nervous to write my first paper because it has been a little over 3 years since I last wrote one. But I wrote and it passed. Yay me!
