Yesterday we had doctors appointments and I can hardly believe how big my kiddos are getting. Jaxson is 4 years old and now weighs in at 34 lbs! He's in the 25th percentile for both weight and height and the doctor says he's doing really well. I laughed when she said that he spoke very well for his age. She has a pretty thick oriental accent and so when I told her he was in speech therapy she laughed and said that she probably just got him because they're both hard to understand! It was so funny. He's a very healthy boy and growing like a weed!
Olivia is just going to be my tiny girl I suppose. She weighs in at 10 lbs 10 oz and is only 23 inches long. Although the doctor didn't seem concerned about her size, she did suggest that we start doing more solids more often in a hope of packing on some weight before winter hits. We've already tried carrots and she LOVES them!
She's doing everything she should be though so that's good. Her weight is in the 3rd percentile and her head is in the 75th, so I suppose it's not surprise that she struggles to hold up that noggin! We've got some stretches for her to do though and it should all work itself out. Other then the head and weight though she is right where she should be for her age. Such a big little girl!
