Happy Healthy Baby

I went to the doctor's today and baby is doing really well. We did an ultrasound and he is measuring only about a week ahead of where he should be, so it looks like he'll be keeping true to form and be a big boy, but we like them that way! At least it means a healthy baby right!

This hearts for you...

For Valentines day we made pink heart pancakes and they were a huge hit! (thank you Gena for the inspiration for shaped pancakes and wilton food coloring) Jaxson ate 3 of them all by himself (as many as me) and then decided to put his left over syrup in his hair! What a clown! Notice the glisten in his hair!

Whoa BABY!!

Laurie, Kira, Jenn, Me, and Lisa in front of the restaurant!

This weekend we made a trip to Salt Lake for a baby shower. These are cute roomies from my Sophmore year and 5 of the 6 of us are either expecting or just had a baby! It was scary to move to big city where I didn't know anyone for college and I worried constantly about being able to make friends. Thankfully I was given some awesome roomies and even better friends! I love you girls!!

Our big boy...literally!

Jaxson had his 18 month check up today and as expected he's a big boy! He weighs 27 lbs and has grown 2 inches since he was a year old. His head is finally back on the charts in the 95th percentile and he is as healthy as he can be. He did really well at the doctors to until it came time to immunize him. The nurses did all 3 shots in one fell swoop which you would think was a good thing, but he was really upset with them. First he pulled off both his band aids and told the nurse "uh uh" in his most upset tone, then shook his head at her. When she came back to offer him a stuffed animal as a peace offering her told her "NO!" and as we left she waved goodbye, to which he replied, "uh uh" and looked the other way. It was so funny. I've never had a child so indignant with a nurse and I couldn't stop laughing!
